Liberals-NDP Coalition Block Investigation Into RCMP Charging Trudeau Consultants

Ottawa, ON – After nine years of Justin Trudeau, Canadians are struggling. Unemployment is rising while Trudeau’s inflationary carbon tax is forcing families to pay $700 more for groceries this year than in 2023. Millions of Canadians are having to line up outside of food banks just to survive. But life for well-connected Liberal insiders and scamsters has never been so good.

Two weeks ago, the RCMP revealed that they had charged a scamster who received $250,000 through Trudeau’s broken contracting system. The Liberal-NDP coalition blocked questions to officials responsible for government contracting on how many cases had been referred to the RCMP. The RCMP previously testified they have “multiple” investigations into federal contracting, in addition to their active investigation in Trudeau’s $60 million ArriveScam app, which was supposed to cost taxpayers $80k.

Newly discovered contracting details also show that the Trudeau Government gave nearly $400,000 in taxpayer money to a digital consulting company whose CEO is a Liberal Party activist. On top of this, one of their consultants ran as a candidate for the Liberal Party in 2021. Conservatives are fighting to expose Liberal insiders and former candidates who are getting paid, while Trudeau sent his MPs to cover-up his abuse of taxpayer money.

This is not the first time that Canadians’ tax dollars have been wasted on potentially criminal contracts. The RCMP is already investigating GC Strategies for the ArriveScam debacle after Trudeau paid $19 million to two Ottawa insiders who did no work on an app that could’ve been created for a few thousand dollars over a weekend.

Last year, Trudeau paid out $21 billion to external contractors, many of whom do no actual work themselves. Canadians deserve to know how much of their money was given to criminals and friends of the Liberal Party. Common Sense Conservatives will not stop until the full extent of this wasteful spending is revealed.

Justin Trudeau is not worth the cost and is not worth the corruption. Only Conservatives will end the corruption and bring home common sense to Ottawa.
